I recently purchased an HTC Magic, my first device running Android, Google's Linux-based mobile operating system. Although there are a lot of things I like about Android, I also quickly realized that there are also a lot of things that either require urgent improvement or are going wrong altogether. Distributions that provide the same or better level of user-friendliness than the malware-infested and DRM-riddled operating system that they currently use.
