As a Linux user and an telecommuting employee one of my biggest challenges was configuring the VPN Client to connecct to my employer's VPN server so I had access to the Knowledge Base as well as all other Internet services:

It all started at the beginning of last week. I wanted my 11th and 12th Grade ICT students to start using Ubuntu Linux on their laptops/netbooks at the beginning of the second quarter. I knew it would take me nearly two weeks to get them working Ubuntu Linux systems on their laptops or netbooks...

Here is a fairly new Linux distribution and like many new ones out there this distribution is based off of Ubuntu Linux. The installation was just an easy 7 steps just as most other Ubuntu based distributions. What makes this distribution stand out is the fact that most of the necessary Media Apps and Codecs are already installed for you so you do not have to do that for your self.

We all knew it was only a matter of time until the bit bucket flowed over ;)

Some quick steps to resolve a few basic issues with VCS faults

I've been writing a series of blogs explaining that Linux has reason to fear Windows 7, because it may kill Linux's market share. But there's also plenty of reason for Microsoft to fear Linux, which is why Microsoft is looking to Windows 7 as a Linux-killer.

I'm stubborn, no doubt about. I wanted a particular look and I got it. Weren't easy, not in the sense of doing it, in the sense of finding out how to do it. So here are my instructions.
