Keeping two Amarok installations in sync
Okay, so I have two machines running Amarok, the kick-ass audio player for linux. These machines are in separate locations, connected by a VPN link (the excellent and free Hamachi zero-conf VPN). I want to keep the back-end database and music in sync without expending a lot of effort. Scripts ahoy!

Once again, I go crawling back to Ubuntu.
I still want to re-state how much I also like Foresight, and this was a very difficult decision for me to make, especially due to the traffic my blog post about my initial impressions of Foresight Linux received. Honestly, that made me a little self-conscious about the decision altogether. I know I said more would come after 30 days, but I’m going to go ahead and lay everything out now.
