Mozilla is out with the first update of 2010 to its open source Firefox Web browser. Unlike its immediate predecessor, Firefox 3.5.7 is not being issued to fix security issues, but rather is an update for a trio of stability-related bugs.

How change display resolution settings using xrandr
Xrandr is used to set the size, orientation and/or reflection of the outputs for a screen. It can also set the screen size. There are a few global options; the rest modify a particular output and follow the specification of that output on the command line.

A Chinese group has created an Ubuntu Linux clone that looks, um, just like Windows XP. Two big questions: First, do customers want a Linux release (called Ylmf OS) that looks like Windows?
