Ubuntu 7.04 on a MacBook

http://friendlylinux.org

Now I’ve tried installing Ubuntu on my Mac before, actually just around the time I purchased my MacBook, but many features were on an experimental level back then if they even existed, but I figured that with this new Ubuntu-release, MacBook-support should’ve matured.

After Ubuntu, Windows Looks Increasingly Bad, Increasingly Archaic, Increasingly Unfriendly

http://linux.sys-con.com

Overall, my productivity and the scope of things I can do with Ubuntu far exceed what I could do with Windows and just as importantly Ubuntu (like any Linux would) lets me easily create my own productivity shortcuts of a variety of sorts.

Dell quietly drops extended warranty support for Ubuntu

http://www.dell.com

When the Dell/Ubuntu machines were announced, it was possible to extend the default warranty to 2-4 years as well as adding "CompleteCare" accidental breakage protection. 60 days with Ubuntu

http://jyquentel.wordpress.com

"I have been using Ubuntu for approximately 2 months now. This has been a fairly monogamous relationship, I think I booted Windows all of twice, mostly because I had to go to a specific site that uses IE7 streaming capabilities. I know I can install IE7 in Ubuntu, but I am not that devious. So, how does it feel like?"

http://www.cs.uml.edu

With Dell's new Ubuntu offerings, everyone had been wondering how much cheaper, if any, an Ubuntu PC would be compared to a PC with Windows Vista on it.
