Now I’ve tried installing Ubuntu on my Mac before, actually just around the time I purchased my MacBook, but many features were on an experimental level back then if they even existed, but I figured that with this new Ubuntu-release, MacBook-support should’ve matured.

How fast is Beryl/Compiz with the
How fast is Beryl/Compiz with the 915 card in the MB? I'm considering getting a MacBook, but right now I'm waiting till I can save enough for a MB Pro because it has an ATI card. I've had bad experiences with 3d and intel cards before.

It works :)
I have a Toshiba which has Intel 915 video and it seems to be quick enough at running compiz and/or beryl. I don't use it on a daily basis though, but it didn't get in the way.
