Red Hat, Inc. (Public, NYSE:RHT) shares just like everything else (including Apple (AAPL)) have been hurt by the recent Bear trends. The problems facing the market are endless and one of my favorite companies and stock has taken a big beating, right down to $1 above their 52-week low. The Company you ask? Linux King, Red Hat Inc.

A month ago I ordered one of the new Ubuntu Dell on the Dell France website : the Inspiron 6400. The base price was around 450 euros, and I took almost all the upgrades, for a final price of around 750 euros. The specs are : a Intel dual proc, 2Gb of RAM, 160Gb HD, 15′4 inch screen, i965 video chipset, DVD+RW burner, 9-cell battery, and a 4-year-warranty. That’s it for the laptop itself. I will now focus on Dell’s integration of Ubuntu (more specifically feisty), something that intrigued me.

Yesterday, my exams finished so I went back to working on my pet project, the Bonjour Plugin for Kopete.

I commited Revision 758598, and with it comes a very functional plugin, which completely supports chatting (at least with pidgin).

X-Plane is marketed as the "most thorough, flexible, and realistic flight simulator available for personal computers" and ships not only for Windows and Macintosh platforms but also for Linux.

We’ve used code from the original IEs4Linux script and trimmed it down and involved wine-doors dependencies rather than a full out overwriting of everything. We’ll probably still need to trim the registry down a bit, and we’ll offer another package for “FakeIE” soon.
