Windows Vista committed suicide

http://samyblog.890m.com

[...]He arrived at his destination. He started formatting himself (he couldn’t be discovered. It was the first and the most important rule: his code must remain secret, always. No exceptions). When he had almost being converted to NULL positions, he managed to finish with his pain, finally. Nobody will never be able to programme him again, he didn’t worth it.

http://techrepublic.com.com

It is with considerable amusement I view the verbal skirmishes between the gathering Linux and Windoze factions, almost like watching differing Religious sects gather.

http://tmac.andrewmin.com

So I’m a little bit bored waiting for people to get back to me on my Python help thread, so I decided that I’d write this. It’s another one of those tip-of-the-iceberg topics, but whatever.

Windows to Ubuntu (Round two) (Installing Ubuntu)(Dual-boot optional)

http://tmac.andrewmin.com

I think this is best done as a numbered list.

However, before I get into this: It is possible to dual-boot Ubuntu and Windows. This means that when you turn on your computer, you’ll get a menu that says “Ubuntu” and “Windows” and you can pick which one to boot into.

'Editions' of Ubuntu - Why?

http://tmac.andrewmin.com

The psychology behind open source and gaming

Listen To Your Users

I would rather write something about the idea of comparing Linux to Windows or MacOS. According to Ryan, such comparisons are pointless. He tried to prove this, but I cannot agree with him in this area, so I decided to write this rebuttal.

John Naughton rips into the sycophantic nature of tech journolism when it comes to Microsoft.
