XMPP seems to be quickly turning from the future of instant messaging into its present" -- http://sameplace.cc/wiki/frequently-asked-questions#toc8

This new job really makes me think... Windows vs Linux
Well. I started my new job today. Really great first day, I will say. They had me fill out the normal required paperwork and agreements for working in a law office, and that sort of thing... Then they set me up with administrative privileges on the network and I began to beta test some software. They have Virtual Server 2005 setup, so I can test the software on Win98, 2000, XP, and Vista through Internet Explorer using an extension of remote desktop. This got me thinking a lot... Windows... or Linux?
