What Does Wine 1.0 Mean for Business?

http://ostatic.com

This is a 1.0 that I wasn't sure would ever come. No, I'm not talking about the Duke Nukem game that's been vaporware for the last decade or so -- I'm talking about Wine 1.0, which is slated for release on June 6th of this year. That's a mere 15 years after development was started.

http://www.linuxplanet.com

The steps for setting up any mail-merge document in OpenOffice are easy; the one potentially gnarly bit is creating your contacts database in the first place. Freespire 2: Not Bad!

http://jonreagan.wordpress.com

Since I needed a system to last until the Ubuntu 8.04 release, my search has landed me back at Freespire 2.0. I know, I know… I said that I would never use Freespire again, all because of their patent deal with Microsoft.
