unfortunately it's a hoax
I also plurked (like twitter, but more popular in Taiwan) about this news but unfortunately later I learned that this is a hoax: http://www.aptiquant.com/articles/396/ The IE users are not _proved_ to be dumb after all. Still, I have trouble believing that IE6 and IE7 users are as intelligent as regular people, to put it politely.
