Last week Microsoft unveiled (perhaps sooner than intended) its new CodePlex Foundation,with the mission of “enabling the exchange of code and understanding among software companies and open source communities.” Does it stand a chance of gaining any community participation?

Not Now - Not Ever
This article underlines the obvious.
M$ is not to be trusted; not now, not ever.
CodePlex is a typical M$ fraud, which is designed to benefit M$, alone, and nobody else.
Free Software, and everybody else, would be very ill-advised to have any dealings whatsoever with this untrustworthy, rogue organisation.
