Porting Windows to OLPC
So why does Microsoft try to port Windows to OLPC?
If OLPC is so utterly unimportant why do they bother porting Windows to it? They could have easily ignored it as they have done for a long time.
And why do they try to promote their own effort, the Classmate PC, that as far as I know, runs only Windows and has no major Linux Distributor in its board?

A lot of those Poor People Need Computers
Isn't it possible that poor people, who really do need a computer of some kind, could use the extra cash for other things after purchasing a cheap computer? Think about College students or kids just out of college trying to pay student loans as one example; they need all the cash they can get, but they probably also need a computer.
