The 3.0.3 version of PlayOnLinux has been released .

PlayOnLinux today went live with their new APT repository the repository will enable you to automatically update your computer at the time of each release of PlayOnLinux.

Today, we just crossed a new important step for PlayOnLinux's internationalization: We opened up of the Hispanic part of the web site! we would like to welcome all of our Spanish-speaking users, now its possible for our Spanish speaking users to read the PlayOnLinux site in their native language. Also today version 2.0.9 of PlayOnLinux was released

PlayOnLinux 3.0.5 has been released, its a minor update with the main change being improvements made to the integrated tchat client.

PlayOnLinux (POL) is a python-based frontend (with bash install scripts) to install windows programs in Wine. Originally, the program's purpose was to let new linux users install their favorite windows games with ease.

I’m usually quite happy with Linux software, so I don’t use Wine all that much. Normally, I only use Wine to test some web pages in IE. But now and then I have the need to edit some word file that Open Office can’t handle. For that reason I recently installed Microsoft Office on my Ubuntu at work with the help of PlayOnLinux.

PlayOnLinux 2.0.7 is out with some minor changes. Polish translation, Russian translation, Italian language fixes. The problem with the --run command should now be fixed.
