A GPL v3 killer?

http://geekblog.oneandoneis2.org

I see Intel has just released the previously-commercial-only Threading Building Blocks (TBB) template library under GPL v2. I have been working on providing Microsoft Exchange capability for Akonadi on-and-off for a while. There is an emerging problem though: GPLv2 and GPLv3 are not compatible. My code is fine - it is "GPLv2 or later". The incompatibility is that Qt is released under GPLv2 (not "or later")

The Badger Game

http://www.linuxtoday.com

"For the past couple of weeks, I have been more than a little pensive about the nature of the new GNU General Public License (v3). Since the last set of drafts have come out, I have been concerned that the whole thing seems obstructionist to what I believe we should be focusing on: getting computers to work together and moving past this whole will-they-won't-they interoperability nonsense."
