The Debian KDE team has not been releasing KDE updates with each monthly incremental version, and so there have been no snapshots between KDE SC 4.3.4 and KDE SC 4.4.3. As of yesterday, however, the Sid repositories began to be populated with KDE SC 4.4.3, and as of today, we now have Sid (and sidux) implementations of KDE SC 4.4.3 available. I am using it now.

Wacom bamboo CTL-460 in Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx)
The new Wacom Bamboo Pen (CTL-460) doesn’t work in Ubuntu Lucid out-of-the-box. You need a newer kernel module than the one that comes with Lucid by default. It’s pretty easy to get it working though, you just need to know how.

I like the brand spanking new Ubuntu 10.04 a lot. But while I like its GNOME 2.30 interface, I also like other interfaces such as KDE. It would be nice if Ubuntu could also play MP3s, common video formats and Flash from the get-go.

i don't need no stinking nepomuk .. right?
Every so often (this is today's theme) I hear someone say something along the lines of, "I don't need Nepomuk Desktop Search. All my files are properly arranged in a neat folder hierarchy. I am not in need of any help with that, so Nepomuk is a waste of resources and I don't care to have it installed."
