Wouldn’t it be great if there was an application which would allow users to browse through games, filter them by genres or names, view the screen shots and read the information about the games? Players using Windows can already use “Games for Windows” or “Steam” from Valve, but they also have to pay.

I can be a rather harsh critic. It’s been quite some time since I’ve given a really glowing review of any Linux Distro on the Computer Action Show. But Ubuntu 9.10 is as close to perfection as any version of Linux I have ever seen.

Evaluating the PCLinuxOS operating system
Let me preface this by saying that I do not usually have good experiences with Mandriva based releases. Knowing PCLinuxOS is based on Mandriva, and knowing that it was supposed to be a live CD release, I booted up my VirtualBoxOSE and set about running and possibly installing PCLinuxOS.
