OpenOffice.org 3.1.1 was released a few days ago, bringing many bug fixes to the stable 3.1 series. One of the ways to get it on Jaunty is to use the Launchpad.net PPA for OpenOffice.org Scribblers which recently packaged it for Ubuntu Jaunty and included it in their repositories.

I'm now wondering how I ever managed to use gnome with Ubuntu Tweak - I spent ten minutes tweaking settings that I didn't even know existed. I published a review on the new Slackware 13.0, which I really didn’t like for numerous reasons. However, I did a search for Slackware based distros, to see whether the base ideas could be built upon. Sabayon – Manage multiple GNOME user profiles
Sabayon is a system administration tool to manage GNOME desktop settings. Sabayon provides a sane way to edit GConf defaults and GConf mandatory keys: the same way you edit your desktop.
