Alternative browsers shine
As far as I'm concerned, Microsoft ought to get out of the browser business. There are four non-Microsoft browsers that are much better, and they're all free. The company should simply package all four of them with Windows and let PC buyers choose the one they like best.

That’s not bloated, that’s clinically obese
The biggest surprise (shock?) to me was the stark contrast between performance with only 256Mb of memory, and performance with 512Mb. I tease the Gnome crowd a lot for being chubby, but that’s not overweight, that’s clinical obesity.
