Notify-osd -- Now with 70% Less Annoy :-)
Reduce the notify-osd time-out to 3 seconds, rather than the default 10. Its amazing how much this changed my appreciation of the notifications... I have found the annoyance is mainly based on them being on screen too long

Lucid Lynx is enjoying glowing reviews, and Ubuntu in general is immensely popular, as Linux distros go. What is it about Ubuntu that gives it such a large, loyal following?
