The long term objective of this project is not only to deliver a free as in freedom flash player, but also to give to the Flash technology the dignity of a real open standard. I really believe Flash is a powerful technology, it’s main weakness being it’s closedness.

Workshops tackle Qt, Linux, and i.MX development
Future Electronics and Nokia will host six full-day, hands-on workshops across the North America on using Linux and Nokia's Qt development framework to develop user interfaces (UIs) for Freescale's ARM-based i.MX system-on-chips (SoCs). Starting in Boston on May 18, the workshops will use the Freescale i.MX23 SoC as its sample platform.

Earlier this week I came across this blog posting about data integrity testing on ZFS title: ZFS data integrity tested. It was a few months old from Robin Harris’ blog Storage Bits. I guess the most exciting part was validating Sun Microsystem’s claims to ZFS having the ability to correct data corruption even with error injection to both the disk and memory.

However, I still use Firefox as my main web browser because it is still better than Chrome in certain areas.But just recently, I tried a few tweaks that significantly improved the speed of Firefox making it a little bit snappier than the latest version of Google Chrome when loading webpages.
