Translating a command line tool to a graphical interface usually means a loss of functionality. However, in the case of the newly released trowser text browser, while I wouldn't swear that the transition has retained all the functionality of the less command that it is intended to replace, I doubt that anyone short of an expert is likely to notice the difference

Now that I have the ultimate television card I wanted to do something to capture the moment when the bad guy's gloating turns to gloom when the hero escapes so I had a look at a couple of DVR programs. The most well known is Mythtv and another fast rising star is Freevo. While they do the job they are not real simple to set up and have a few problems. They are getting better fast though.

My two favorite computers to use are my Lenovo X60 (running SLED 10 SP1) and my Apple Macbook Pro running OS X (10.4.10).
