Moorestown-based smartphone to run Moblin, Android, and MeeGo

Aava Mobile announced an "open" Aava smartphone reference design that employs Intel's "Moorestown" CPU, with current or planned support for Moblin Linux 2.1, Android, and MeeGo. Meanwhile, LG will port its Moorestown- and Moblin-based GW990 phone to MeeGo, says an industry report.

Acer updates Liquid, adds three more Android phones

The Disposable PC.

When I write about the disposable PC, blame for the creation and maintaining of such a culture does not belong to a single entity. It has gotten to the point where hardware has become so cheap that whenever someone who lacks any real technical knowledge comes across a computing problem (whether it be hardware or software related) has no problem running out and purchasing a new replacement.
