flv2dvd is a script that convert an flv into a dvd iso image. simple stick the (single flv file) into an empty directory, cd into it and type in (flv2dvd *) without the quotes. The end result is a dvd iso that you can burn using your favourite cd burner.

A new version of MEPIS Linux, one of my favorite KDE-based distributions, is nearing final release. Roughly a year after the arrival of version 7.0, distribution founder and maintainer Warren Woodford has just issued MEPIS 8.0 beta 2, based on a Debian Lenny core.

Mounting ISO Images With Furius ISO Mount On Ubuntu 8.04 Deskto
Furius ISO Mount is a tool that lets you mount and unmount ISO images on your desktop, calculate the checksums (MD5 and SHA1) of the ISO images, and burn them onto a CD or DVD (using external programs like Brasero or Nautilus).
