Nokia has announced a new version of its Linux-based Internet tablet. The N810 is smaller, heavier, and faster than the older N800, with new features that include a slide-out hardware QWERTY thumb keyboard, GPS receiver, FM transmitter (for in-car listening), and a light-sensing screen dimmer.

Linspire 6: Two steps back

The simplest DVR is Linux, and thats no myth!
Now that I have the ultimate television card I wanted to do something to capture the moment when the bad guy's gloating turns to gloom when the hero escapes so I had a look at a couple of DVR programs. The most well known is Mythtv and another fast rising star is Freevo. While they do the job they are not real simple to set up and have a few problems. They are getting better fast though.

Setting up a Music Server using NFS
In my palatial estate in scenic Waltham, Massachusetts, aka my apartment, I have several computers. My two favorite computers to use are my Lenovo X60 (running SLED 10 SP1) and my Apple Macbook Pro running OS X (10.4.10).
