Celtx jumps a version, releases 2.0
After years of perpetual beta (it's vogue these days), Celtx, the open source media pre-production and screenwriting application, finally earned its 1.0 status this past June. So it might seem a little odd that only eight months later, Celtx is making the jump to 2.0 (and it does seem a little sudden) so let's take a look and see if this new version worth its version number.

Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 5 Screenshot Tour
Among the new features we can notice a couple of new desktop effects. For example, when you enter the GNOME session you will now notice a nice fade effect that makes the transition from the login manager to the desktop. Also, when you change your workspaces... the desktop will not slide anymore, only the opened windows (this is the result of a modification in Compiz's Desktop Wall plugin).

What to do when the root partition is full?
I just upgraded from an older version of Lenny to latest. When the upgrade finished, an alert appeared noting that root partition is full. As a consequence of this problem (I think) I can't save or print Open Office documents.
