If you want to Adobe Acrobat file size using command line you can use ghostscript. Ghostscript is used for PostScript/PDF preview and printing. Usually as a back-end to a program such as ghostview, it can display PostScript and PDF documents in an X11 environment.

PCLinuxOS LXDE (PCLXDE) 2009 Review
Fortunately, the PCLOS community has come out with a new flavor based on the LXDE desktop, so I can stop worrying about a forced KDE 4 upgrade. I opted for the LXDE install. I’d never tried it, much less heard of it, but the screenshots looked nice enough.

Not too soon: Moonlight 2 finally reaches beta
The team of Miguel De Icaza has released the first feature complete beta release of Moonlight 2.0.
I must say: it is about time! Silverlight 3.0 for Windows has been released last month. Although I really admire the work of Miguel and his team, Linux is still the poor child when it comes to Silverlight support.
