In the style of the Command & Conqueror genre type of games this newly discovered (by me) time waster is called Warzone 2100. Anyone who states that there are no good games for Linux need to pull their sat out of their ash.

Ubuntu 9.10 is the upcoming version of the Ubuntu operating system. The common name given to this release from the time of its early development was “Karmic Koala”.

When you delete a file, you are not really deleting it from your had drive. All the system does if free up the space occupied by that file to make room for other files and until that space is filled with new data, the files you tried to delete are actually still stored on your hard disk and can be recovered.

Today I’m gonna briefly talk about a distro call PCLinuxOS Why is this one of my personal favs? Well for me it is one of the most user friendly versions, I think if you take a look at it ,mess around a bit with it you will find that you can easily of the basic normal everyday tasks that you do on a windows based PC.

Let me preface this by saying that I do not usually have good experiences with Mandriva based releases. Knowing PCLinuxOS is based on Mandriva, and knowing that it was supposed to be a live CD release, I booted up my VirtualBoxOSE and set about running and possibly installing PCLinuxOS.
