Puppy Linux is, by far, my favorite super-lightweight Linux distribution out there. Though lacking some features that exist in the distro giants, the sheer speed and responsiveness of it are amazing. Not to mention the hundreds of tiny little applications that do a great job of handling all sorts of tasks.

cdrtools 3.0 release candidate after 5 years of development
After more than 5 years, author is proud to announce the release candidate for a new "stable" version of the cdrtools package. The next version will be called cdrtools-3.0 and be released in about a week and it contains more than thousand of changes.
