I've heard for years how everyone is sick of Windows crashing and how Windows is a poorly made system. At the same time, I've heard about how much better a Macintosh is because it doesn't do any of these things. I've even heard that Linux is better than both of them.

Helplessness in Subjugation
When you choose to live your life under subjugation, you have chosen to give up your right to help yourself. This person sounds exactly like everybody that has experienced life completely in subjugation.
He seems to want software distributors to fulfill all his computing requirements but fails to realize that only he can do that himself. He fails to realize that any general purpose software that is distributed to the public will be inadequate to somebody.
