Last week, AMD's recent support for Linux in the video card sector inspired me to give Linux another shot. I decided to give Kubuntu Feisty a try, as I am already somewhat accustomed to KDE. Unfortunately, I ran into all of the same problems that I had run into with previous versions of linux, as well as some new ones.

I agree that Ubuntu is not much
I agree that Ubuntu is not much to look at. Please try and review PCLinuxOS 2007. I was ready to give up on Linux when I tried this one. All your plugins for Firefox are there. There are tons of software. I was connected to the internet before the install was complete. Please give this one a look.
