that terminal power over the Free Internet should be handed over to insignificant, ultra-scumbags like the RIAA and MPAA.
Instead of being objects of derision and contempt, these germs are being permitted to administer government policy.
Billy Gates flagged this, over a decade ago, when he started steering M$ in the direction of being largely an entertainment gimmick.
Now, we've got spooks like Steve Jobs making fancy closed-shop DVD players, like the iPad, and creatures like the RIAA and MPAA in charge of internet policy.

Perhaps we should consider moving to FreeNet or GNUNet or I2P, where corprorate censorship and control can't exist?
