Yes, the flow of money out of SCO never ends, it seems, and so Pachulski Stang has filed a couple of more bills in the SCO bankruptcy. At some point it has to end for them. They withdrew from the case back in November on the 16th, and here we are in February, and they are filing bills for September and November, but not October. That must still be on its way. That alone seems odd.

So, more filings in the SCO bankruptcy, and more bills. The accountants, Tanner, have filed their 8th interim bill since SCO filed for Chapter 11 protection. Astonishing, isn't it? The grand total of all of Tanner's bills comes to $264,296.30 plus expenses. When SCO first filed, back in September of 2007, it actually still had some money. How about now?

Lots of filings in the bankruptcy, but not many that matter. The SCO enablers want their money, and I would guess they'd like it sooner rather than later, all things considered. Mesirow has filed another bill, and so has Berger Singerman, and Tanner has an Order that it can expand its role on SCO's behalf. We have also the hearing schedule for the June 17 hearing.

Of course there are more bills in the bankruptcy. Berger Singerman and Mesirow want to be paid again.

More bills, bills, bills in the bankruptcy, but it's winding down. But SCO is winding up. Guess where Me Inc Software, the subsidiary, is located? In Utah, or Delaware, or anyplace that the US bankruptcy court in Delaware or the creditors can get at the profits? Nay, m'lords. In Hong Kong.

There is another bill [PDF] in the SCO bankruptcy for us to go over with a fine-toothed comb, this one from Pachulski Stang, their 20th bill. And we have finished doing the text of the exhibits to SCO's proposed sale, and I noticed some things in the trademark list I thought I might highlight. It always pays to do these text versions. You do notice things that otherwise don't seem to stand out.

This is very odd. Remember at the last bankruptcy hearing on June 15 SCO represented that there were several different possible purchasers SCO was considering? Both SCO CEO Darl McBride and Frank Caplan, a lawyer for Berger Singerman, testified about that. Caplan mentioned at least four deals.

Is there any way today could be any busier? Now, on top of the filings and rulings and the hearing today in the SCO v. Novell litigation, there were also some filings in SCO's bankruptcy in Delaware. Judge Gross did as SCO's trustee asked and reset the deadline for objections to the Yarro loan offer to February 26. Remember that ring around the rosie?

There are a lot of filings to catch up on in the SCO bankruptcy, the usual bleeding of the patient with bills and such. Also the monthly operating reports for January from SCO, and the transcript [PDF] from the December hearing which was embargoed until March but is now available.
