Emlix GmbH is introducing a dual-unit, GPS- and GPRS-based logistics system for tanker transport of liquid goods, such as milk. Its System 3003 combines two Ethernet-linked Linux systems: the in-cabin subsystem (ICS) for driver guidance and the metering-sampling subsystem (MSS) that monitors liquid delivery/collection.
