The year will be significant in magnitude, but unfortunately for MS, it will be in the negative direction. I do not anticipate MSOOXML to survive or be ratified by ISO. I think ODF will continue its rapid growth, will be adopted by many more governments, and will be implemented in essentially every document-generating software program except MS's.
