Dell founder and CEO Michael Dell confirmed that the company's Streak Android-based tablet, formerly known as the Mini 5 tablet, will be available in Europe next month from mobile phone carrier Telefonica O2

Dell is responding to concerns in the open-source community that it didn't comply with the rules governing Android software used in its Streak tablet.

Following previous reports that Dell's Mini 3i smartphone was merely a proof of concept, the computer giant has now confirmed that it's planning on releasing the device.
