The last release candidate of KDE SC 4.4 is out. Following up the first release candidate, another number of bugs has been searched and destroyed. This releases fixes some problems found during the earlier testing phase, and acts as a last line of defense before KDE SC 4.4.0 will be released on February, 9th 2010.
KDE has released the first release candidate of the next version of the KDE Software Compilation (KDE SC). KDE SC 4.4 Release Candidate 1 provides a testing base for identifying bugs in the upcoming KDE Software Compilation 4.4, with its components the KDE Plasma Workspaces, the Applications powered by KDE, and the KDE Development Platform.
The release candidate build of Firefox 3.6.4 is now available for download and public testing. This version fixes issues found in the previous beta of Firefox 3.6.4.
Firefox 3 Release Candidate has been released. It includes only minor performance, UI, and compatibility tweaks. If no issues are found with the release candidate, it will become the final release.
The Wine development release 1.2-rc7 is now available. Barring any last minute problems, this should be the last release candidate before the final 1.2. Please give it a good testing.

KDE has released a release candidate of the upcoming 4.7 release of the Plasma Desktop and Netbook workspaces, the KDE Applications and the KDE Frameworks, which is planned for July 27, 2011. With API, dependency and feature freezes in place, the KDE team's focus is now on fixing last-minute showstopper bugs and finishing translation and documentation that comes along with the releases.
