Bullshit

Link in the article (http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/PlainTextPasswords) perfectly describes situation with plan text passwords. And... can anyone call me software that does not store passwords in plain-text? Hashes are only good on a server side, anything that will be encrypted needs a key in any form. Obfuscating is nothing too - obfuscating algorithm is known. So... I do not see anything strange and paranormal.
