Well, no, not a food olive bazaar (though that would be tasty), but rather Olive, a GTK GUI for Bazaar, a version control system similar to GIT and Subversion. We’re not going to go into the differences between the systems, but rather focus on this interesting application, now merged into the Bazaar GTK project.

I wanted to share this idea for a long time. Upon reading "Linux guru: interface innovation is the challenge" from linuxtoday, I realize that I can postpone no longer. My suggestion is simple: give users a simple entry box much like a google search box with cues (or possible keyword completions that get automatically displayed, if you are command-line-interface oriented like me).

I am currently in that level of hell reserved for people who upgrade their GNU/Linux system too quickly. I have for some time now been happily using KDE 4 with the plasma desktop enjoying the cute little animations and eye candy, and learning to use the task-bar and widgets.
