The GoblinX Project is proud to announce the second release of the next G:Mini. The G:Mini 3.0 rc01 (2.9.90) is released. The G:Mini formely known as ‘GoblinX Mini Edition‘ is the son of GoblinX and contains only XFCE as the windows manager and GTK/GTK2 based applications.
The Mint development team has announced the release of Linux Mint 7 XFCE, a Community Edition code named 'Gloria'. French mini-PC vendor Linutop announced a version of its Ubuntu 8.4-based Linux distribution on a USB key targeting Asus Eee PCs. The key (pictured) is based on its small-footprint Linutop 2.2 distro, which is designed for ultra-low-powered systems such as its own Linutop 2 mini-PC.

Foresight is an rPath-based, desktop-oriented Linux distribution. It is a rolling release distribution, so there is no need for frequent releases associated with other distributions that do not have this feature. In fact, this release, Foresight 2.5.0, is the first major release since February 2009 when Foresight 2.1.0 was released.
