Interesting. I'm currently streaming my music to an old 200MHz pentium system (all fans removed and root on NFS) that runs esd. Maybe not as cool but definitely cheaper than 600 dollars ;-)

Anyways, I'd like to use voip software in this setup, how should I transport microphone traffic back to the server from this old pentium system? ESD only does playback and I can't run the voip software locally since 200MHz just isn't enough for ekiga.
