Today I will continue the series of GUI applications reviews with 5 clients for the BitTorrent protocol. I will leave command-line clients like rtorrent or ctorrent for some other time, focusing on KTorrent, Deluge, Transmission, Vuze and QBitTorrent.

A while ago I reviewed 6 GUI clients for IRC, so today I'll continue with the second part with this review of 5 CLI (Command Line Interface) clients.

Everybody uses email as one of its primary communication means; Free Software desktop users are no exception. In this regard, email clients play a central role in the way we work and generally live in the Internet. I would like to discuss the present state of Free & Open Source email clients.

It seems that some folks in the Fedora community are getting tired of the tone of the discussion on the project's mailing lists. Thus this proposal from the Fedora board:

Ampache is a LAMP application that gives you a Web interface to your music collection, allowing you to search, rate, and play your music over the network. I have tried all the command line BitTorrent clients, and they are awesome with memory/cpu usage but that isnt the preferred way anymore, most resort to GUI clients, and there are a few to choose from that kick ass. Here is a few to think about
