Apparently there’s some sort of conspiracy keeping Linux-related links off the front page of the popular link-sharing site Digg.com — or at least that’s what a recent Computerworld editorial would have you believe.

I find Dell's half-hearted commitment to Linux as frustrating as everyone else. It took me forever to find the actual link on Dell's site to their Ubuntu offerings (hint: they look exactly like Google AdSense sponsored links and it just says "open-source PCs"). Once you find it (or even if you use the direct link), you are greeted with a warning page about Ubuntu.

Last week I put Windows Vista Ultimate and Fedora Linux 9 to a test. The article hit the front page of Digg but received a lot of criticism by those disappointed with the performance of Internet Explorer. So, let's dig deeper and use Firefox to see if Internet Explorer's memory footprint is actually a Windows Vista "feature" or not.

You have all the technical benefits and cost savings up on the screen. Everything's going swimmingly until you let slip that you want this bunch of middle-aged fogeys in sober suits to bet the farm on something called Gutsy Gibbon.
