If you're going to illegally download media, don't be a coward about it. No one believes you're downloading "backups"; you shouldn't try to hide what you're doing.

You might want to download media from a competitive company without them knowing what you are interested in.
You might want to download media from a site you goverment restricts your access to and fear persecution
There's just too many uses for anonymous access. Not everyone is a criminal
