As everybody knows Ubuntu 10.04LTS Lucid is planned for the month of 29 april 2010, the developers actually are working on softwares that will be included by default in the future Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid, one of the news is that a backup tool will be included by default to the next release. In this post I will explain how to install Nginx with PHP 5.3.2 and PHP-FPM on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx (10.04-amd64). The Lucid release is a Long-Term Support (LTS), meaning that it will be supported for three years on the desktop and for five years with the server version.

As Canonical prepares to launch Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) in April 2010, there are signs  Dell will show considerable love to the Long Term Support (LTS) release. Here are some preliminary details about Dell's look at Ubuntu 10.04.

Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, is pinning its hopes of OEM acceptance on the Lucid Lynx. We've put the screws to this new Long Term Support (LTS) release, comparing it to Canonical's previous LTS release, 8.04 Hardy Heron, to look for progress.

The latest release of Ubuntu shows a great deal of promise but still needs time to really shine. Ubuntu 10.04, otherwise known as Lucid Lynx, was released last week and is the third long term support (LTS) release from Canonical. With much hype around the new Ubuntu theme, as well as the new social networking tools, Lucid had much to live up to. We took it for a spin to see how it fared.

Is Ubuntu's Hardy Heron resting on its laurels? Ubuntu 8.04LTS - for Long Term Support - was widely expected to continue the platform's long, steady march towards impeccable reliability and usability. But instead of a shot on goal, it's looking more like a foul each day.

The next version of Ubuntu – codename Lucid Lynx – will be the 10.04 release, and is scheduled to be released and declared stable in April. As a long-term support version, coupled with increasing popularity, this is undoubtedly the most important Ubuntu release to date.

I've put together my opinion on the top ten usability issues that exist now in Hardy's Alpha and will most certainly be in the final long-term release. I also try to suggest a solution, if there is one.
