Ubuntu has become so popular, so quickly, that it is almost synonymous with the word "Linux". Common wisdom holds that it is the easiest to use, simplest, and most stable Linux based OS out there, and that it is the best hope for "Linux on the Desktop".

Hardy any problems here
I'm running Hardy and I've only experienced a few of the grumbles mentioned in the blog. I'm very happy with the direction Canonical are taking Ubuntu, and I put up with a LOT worse when I was a slave to Microsoft.
