Hugin Panorama Creator Software for Linux: I've been looking for a Panorama creator application for my Linux box and bumped into Hugin. It's a free and open-source graphical user interface (GUI) for Panorama tools that's simple, easy-to-use, and gets the job done. Using Hugin, you can put together mosaic of photographs and turn them into a complete immersive panorama.

The developers of the free panoramic photo editor Hugin released version 0.7 this month, culminating a two-year development cycle. The new release incorporates key new technical abilities and usability improvements to help demystify the panorama creation process for the average shooter.

hugin is a cross-platform open source panorama photo stitching program developed by Pablo d’Angelo and others. It is a GUI front-end for Helmut Dersch’s Panorama Tools and Andrew Mihal’s Enblend and Enfuse.
