Bad for Ubuntu
Banshee is bad for Ubuntu. It's based on "M$-Miguel" de Icaza's Mono implementation of Microsoft's patented .NET Framework. It is liable to M$ legal proceedings if the user isn't running it in conjunction with Microsoft's Novell-based operating systems.
It's not surprising that the proprietary-based Banshee works well with the proprietary iTunes. Birds of a feather tend to flock together, but this is supposed to be Free Software.
