The UN has decided to Free the Internet. An organisation that rose to the task of Freeing Libya should have few problems setting the Internet Free, right? Right!

Links is powerful text WWW browser with tables and frames. It runs in linux terminal providing a faster access to internet especially on slow connection. Its completely text based, so that you cant use it as a complete replacement for usual browsers since terminal can not display images. Also since text based it can be a used for faster acces of internet when you are using mobile internet.

The telecoms-package is a set of monstrous laws regulating the internet.
Amandment 138 is securing a fundamental rights.
If amandment 138 is excluded, internet will be turned into a cable-television system.

This is a campaign organized to raise awareness of the telecoms package in Sweden.

Watching live or recorded TV feeds using a desktop computer is made possible using television software. Most TV software applications nowadays are integrated into media center programs with playback support for almost all kinds of media contents such as audio, video, image files and even RSS feeds.

The author, Gabor Horvath, states some interesting reasons for freeing the whole thing; personally think the "family" argument is the strongest one, and it’s important to spend time with your (small) kids. Of course, at 10 months you can still code with the baby on your tummy.
