Whoa! My experiences is quite opposed. As techie I use to maintain roughly equal number of Windows and FLOSS systems. And, FLOSS just works. You install, setup and forget about it - almost no maintenance needed. For M$, you *must* do something everyday. I consider myself as good Windows administrator, but with FLOSS I'm even better - probably because there is a less problems.
